Rick, you being on TBN was the main reason I had decided to take a chance on a tractor that had the closet dealership over 200 miles away. I felt I would always be able to rely on you for advice in the event I needed it. Sorry I haven't been up to see you but family matters have taken me to St Louis for a bit. I may have to re-think everything now.

I hope the change was your decision and not Kioti's. If it was theirs, it certainly would be a poor reflection on their judgement. Corporate HQ must be able to understand and overcome market trends due to a devastated economy. That doesn't mean dumping dealers due to poor sales.

From everything I can tell, you are a perfect example of the type of businessman this country needs. I wish you and your family the very best in all your future endeavors!!!

The fact that you are still standing by your customers shows what a great dealer you are.

What are you going to be selling now?

We still are a MF and a Mahindra dealer as well as all the other manufactures we represent...check out my web page and you can see what lines we carry.

I had to ask I was afraid that you were going under and you have such a great rep here on TBN. I hope that the other business makes up for dropping the Kioti line.

I feel that the TBN crowd is a very honest group, who will give the good, bad and ugly on anything, but especially dealers! Wallace always gets phenominal reviews, and with Rick's constant support and wealth of knowledge, he has proved to be an excellent dealer even to outsiders like me.

For persective buyers, I feel that the loss of Rick as a Kioti dealer takes Kioti off the table for a lot of people here on TBN. Personally, I haven't gotten great impressions from my local dealers, and I feel that a trip to PA is a small price to pay for great service.

I feel a bit guilty now. I almost PM'ed Rick last night for a price on a CK30 with loader. I held off, thinking that I better wait to see what happens with my wife's current employment first.

Are you kidding me we are still having way to much fun!

It was definitly a shocker when I read this thread.:( It is definitly Kioti's loss.

Rick has sold a quite a few Kiotis, and many were other than thru his dealership. He was some of Kioti best marketing and was better than most advertising campaigns Kioti could have bought. From what I have read on TBN and the correspondence I have had with Rick over purchasing a Kioti, he has been nothing short of being an exceptional dealer and human being.
Bottom line is he was definitely a factor in my choosing a Kioti as he had a passion for Kiotis, whether he was selling it or someone asking a question about one.
I am sure that Massey and Mahindra sales may be increasing in the north eastern United States.

Good Luck Rick! Thanks for all of your Help!

Well I guess the big question is why? Maybe it's not any of our business but since you've sold so many tractors to folks on this site (including me) I think that we should know if there is a problem with the company, the product, you just couldn't get along with them, unreasonable demands from Kioti?

We can only hope that Rick can elaborate so that many questions will be answered. ;)

I should have also mentioned that Rick was as fair to me as any human could be, went out of his way to give good advice and be helpful. For me Kioti was Rick Wallace.

You know how big business is and I'm sure Rick, the nice person he is, would probably just let this be water over the dam and move on. I'd bet it's one of the later though. I have heard they can be tough on their dealers and maybe they didn't like that Rick sold other brands in competition to theirs. Less headaches for him and he is still having fun. It can't get that much better than that. It's just a shame that Kioti lost a great representative of their product.

This is like the Pope announcing he is no longer Catholic!:confused2::confused2::confused2: Not something you ever expect to happen. Glad to hear the doors are still open and the excellent customer service is going to continue.

So sorry to see a good, well liked, reputable dealer lost. Looking forward to your continuing participation on TBN. The best of luck with the rest of your endeavours. gary

Rick, no need for you to apologize to us, you and your team have always gone above and beyond. Sorry to hear you and Kioti have parted ways, your support and guidance is what convinced me to take a leap of faith and buy a tractor brand I had never heard of before. As others have said.. Kioti has lost a huge asset in loosing you as a dealer.
Best of luck and success with your business.

Well, I have posted before, but it gives me the heebie jeebies (whatever they are) to think I bought a tractor and now the dealer is not selling them anymore.
I'm the guy who bought a Sony Beta Max just before they stopped making them and I bought a Ford V10 F250 (8-MPG) just before gas went to $4-5 per gallon. Just a couple of examples of my buying acumen, don't even ask me about the stock market.
Very discouraging not to know if my purchase is another lemon or lemonade.
However, no problems for first 18 moths of ownership so keep my fingers crossed.

Agreed,
My Wallace Tractor CK20S sits proudly in the center of our carport,
It's the 1st thing I greet everyday I come home.
But I found myself looking at it this morning differently, thinking "please don't break".
Rick stated he stands behind all sales, and I beleive him 1000% .

The Ck just looks differant knowing it is not good engough for Wallace Tractor to sell ???
Just a weird feeling.

I would continue to go the Rick/Amy for all my Tractor needs, they are straight shooters and great people.

It has been said already but I feel I NEED to say this.

I will start off by saying I was not fortunate enough to buy a tractor from Wallace Tractor! I spoke with Rick numerous times and corresponded with him even more. I ended up buying a low hour used Kioti.

Here goes: KIOTI are you listening??? The reason I bought a Kioti is 2 fold. 1) Rick and Co. informed me about the Kioti brand. They alleviated my fear about Kioti. The second (2) reason was Rodick Farm Machinery. This is, or was, my local Kioti dealer. Rick and Bud worked in concert, unknown to each other, to convince me that Kioti was a sound product line.

Now Wallace Tractor and Rodick Farm Machinery have both parted ways with Kioti. This is alarming me greatly!!!! If Kioti is unwilling to continue a relationship with two well established dealers what will they be willing to do to help lonely me? Will I be flapping in the breeze when something happens?

Kioti Inc- YOU ARE BLOWING IT !!!! Big Time.

Matt
