I have never understood the attraction myself. To each his own I guess. Now, if they wreck their tractor and it's not paid off, then they declare bankruptcy - we know who pays for that.

Once while mowing a field I hit a soft spot and sunk all 4 wheels. The rest of the field was bone dry and the tall grass hid this little sinkhole. Believe me, it was no fun. A guy from the city was working a job nearby and I got him to lift me out with his backhoe. That was the only time I got that little (25hp) Kbota stuck
