Tractor
Kubota B3200
Well I bit the bullet and finalized the deal on my first tractor a new Kubota B3200 today. It has LA504 QA 60" FEL, Bradco 3265 hoe, 6 ft. box blade/scraper.......block heater for our cold Canadian winters :). Future attachments to include bush hog (rotary cutter), front mounted snow blade and a rear blower (any recommendations appreciated brand, size etc.). I hope to get to do some playin'....I mean work this weekend with it.

Congratulations !

Since advice is free, I'm gonna suggest buying the front mount blower and leave the front plow / rear blower on the dealers lot. :D

Happy tractoring....... and please post us a few pics when she arrives.

It is a very nice rig. If you get a lot of snow, you should probably consider a front blower - a lot easier on the neck.

You sure haven't wasted any time putting that girl to work. Looks like you learned how to use that backhoe right quick too! This looks to me like a TBN success story.

Congrats on the new addition! As others indicated, looks like you are getting lots done and having fun at the same time. ;-)

Just curious why the choice of the Bradco BH over Kubota / Wallenstien / Woods? I am keeping the idea of getting one as well in the back of my mind for a future purchase and looking at all options.

Also love the question from one of the posters of whether it is warm enough up here to wear shorts. ;-)

I'm in South-Eastern Ontario.....Yeah its plenty warm still average 24-25 deg. Celcius in the afternoon.....mornings/evenings are gettin pretty cool down to 12 deg. Celcius overnight. The foundation and backfilling pics took were last week and I jumped in the lake for a swim after that.....about 28 deg C = about 82.5 deg. Farenheit that day.
I chose the Bradco hoe - because my dealer had a new one in stock w/ 4 point Quick-Attach already mounted on the tractor for about $3500 CAD less than the Kubota hoe = no brainer for me. It works great and does all I need it to do. I pretty slick on a fork-lift so picking up the hoe controls was pretty easy in my opinion.

Wow.. my home town is Brantford! Living just north-west of Waterloo now.

Love the thought of a B3200.. out of curiosity I checked how much it would cost me if I was to trade in my BX25 (1 year old, 120hrs) - it was about as much as buying my BX25 the first time around! I wish I had more money than brains... but unfortunately, not yet!! (I only have a 1 1/3 acre lot)

---

As far as a snow blower I will be taking delivery of a rear mount Provonos Puma 54" anytime now. I did a fair amount of research and the Provonso units seem to come out one of the best (if not the best). They include things like shoes and the ability to rotate the chute and deflector standard where with other manufacturers these features are often optional. My old unit has a front mount blower - I think I'm going to miss that, but I wanted the ability to use the loader for the heavy wet stuff we get from time to time.

Have fun!

That is a chunk of change difference. Thanks for the info! Will keep that in mind when it comes time to look at them again. Had to order up the snow blower first since I traded in the last one - not big enough plus it wasn't the right color.. ;-)
