New compressor, expansion valve, evaporator.

They think I might have let the condensor get too dirty and the pressures blew the compressor. I think that is a load of crap. My guess is the compressor went south. They broke a fitting on the evaporator getting it apart.

Regardless - they fixed it all under warranty.

I'm thinking major crap also, ain't never seen a system yet that didn't have a high pressure cutout to protect vital components.

I know my cars have electronic ones. I wonder how JD does it.

Sunnyside and Radman are definitely corect. The thread speak about the seals and I got an extra set from JD, and the next time I take it to the dealer I am going to get the old seals replaced with the new ones
