Horn for B3030?

Well I finally put in the factory horn today thanks to Bruce, who did all the ground work and I used his supplied part numbers.
I even looked back to his instructions to find out how to hook up the horn relay. Thanks Bruce.

Thanks Waxman! I'm glad it worked out for your B3030. I really like where you mounted the horn and the relay cluster; good location. We now two options for mounting the horn thanks to you as well.

Hello Again Waxman! I missed it at first, but I relooked your pictures. Is your tractor a B3030? Reason I ask is, I noticed the additional gages above the instrument cluster.

I do have a B3030 cab model. I didn't like the plain plastic panel above the factory gauges so I added a clock oil pressure and volt meter to fill the void on the factory panel, I moved the wiper and work light switches to either side like on a car. I tried to made it look factory by using a 3/4 in abs plastic board I used a heat gun to duplicate the finish on the original panel.

Very nice! That looks outstanding and superior to factory. I don't have the Cab model because of the Backhoe does not allow both which I wish it did though.

Like I said, I like where you put the horn. I might just move mine down there as well.

Bruce, I have both the cab and a backhoe. It's just not a Kubota backhoe it sticks out alittle more but you can have both.
The horn will really come in handy for me because of the cab you have to open the door to get someones attention , Not any more....

Waxman I am not sure if i have ever heard of 3/4" abs plastic board, do you have any detail on that product.

Thanks Shane, You can get 3/4 inch abs board at any lumber yard. It is used for outsiide trim on maintance free homes, comes in 16 foot lengths and in diffrent widths just like #2 pine boards. When I was painting the gauge panel I used a heat gun to warm up the panel to dry the paint, to my surprise the finish crinkled under the heat and looked just like the the factory finish plastic panel.

As for using the tractor I bought Jan 4th 2008 with 91 hrs, as of Oct.the picture shown parked on the grass it has 301 hrs on the tach. 210 hrs in 9 months I would say it gets used. I Just have the FEL, backhoe, york rake and I just bought a kubota snow plow but haven't used that yet.

Notice how shinny it looks under the dirt. Wax your tractor and the dirt just washes off.
