'63 Ford Industrial Tractor
Model Year: 1963
I was a foreman on a job 30+ years ago and the Sup. had this tractor on the job. I met him again 4 yrs. ago and he sold me the tractor a couple of months before he died. Put a new battery in it, a new rear tire, changed oils, and hydraulic fluids, points, spark plugs, greased etc. and she runs like a top. Did a quick paint job on it---nothing fancy, but looks okay. Strong front end loader w/12 gpm pump, and a heavy 6' Gannon Box blade on the rear, I've added 8' long x 1' wide forks that hook into a brackets welded into the base of the bucket when needed and that also serve as loading ramps for it on to the car hauler trailer. This is still a working tractor---I've graded several lots with it and built building pads, a storm control channel, Demo'd a house that had been partially burnt, and use it around the house and shop as a wheel barrow, hoist, to pull whatever and grade our dirt road with it along with my sisters place and brothers. Planning on getting a auger for it also. It's not as fast as a Case 580 or anything new with auto shifting and easy operator controls, but hey I'm not in a hurry anymore either, and we get it done just the same. Love this tractor.
Pros: Strong little skip loader with a PTO and Gannon.
Cons: Lack of foot throttle requires 3rd hand to operate bucket smoothly.
