doubt it is the glass bowl.

PROBABLY is a sticking float.

you need to look the carb over for a number. if you don't find one. hit a parts site like ytmag.com and look for the zenith replacement for your model and grab it's number.

basically there are large mouth and small mouth / flange carbs for these models.

Problem solved! I received my Carb kit yesterday and installed carb on tractor. The new needle and seat is working and there is no leak. Tried to start the tractor and it would not stay cranked or run. I felt behind the key switch and a wire had come off the key switch. I put the wire back on and she fired right up !!! We cut with a bushog for an hour to test the tractor and the tractor is running great! I want to thank everyone here on this site for all your help. I wanted to tell everyone what the solution was to my problem so that this thread could help others in the future. It is important for others that are looking for help on this site to complete there trouble shooting so others can learn from their experience.
