Your towing rigs and trailers

Trying to see by enlarged photo.....big openings in the lower front bumper indicative of diesel?

If it didn't have trailer I might be able to tell better because trailer looks like it's pulling the nose up.

It's know if you click on the photo, it enlarges it. However, I didn't know until now that you could click it again and enlarge it even more. That helped me see the openings in the lower front bumper.

I just can't wait for someone to ask if it would be OK to tow it with a (insert 1/2 ton pickup model here) since it has trailer brakes and his wife likes the styling of the truck and they won't be pulling it THAT far THAT often... and they have some Wal*Mart bungee cords for strapping their BX whatever down.

I think I am going to need a bigger truck! Pulls good when it's flat but the hills are a killer.

Looks like you're hauling close to 7000lbs, A heavy duty truck... 1 or 3/4 ton should work just fine. Yours looks like my rig and trailer setup. I'm using a gas 3/4 ton F250. Wish I had purchased the diesel. Heavy duty pick up trucks have heavy duty brakes and transmission cooling; great for hills.

A 1/2 ton would too only it would ride better, get better gas mileage and cost less. You don't need a heavy duty truck until your over 9-10k lbs with these newer trucks.
