Your frontline not working?

Interesting. I've not heard this, but then I sell Frontline Plus, which works on ticks, too and 90 days for fleas. I still would have heard through the grapevine though if the regular Frontline product was having a problem.

This is typical response from everyone i hear that has a vested interest in Frontline products.

For the record the boxes we have are frontline plus.

We went to the vet and got a 6 month supply of Comfortis Comfortis4dogs.com - Home Its a pill/chewable you give the dog with food. As advertised within 4 hrs we were seeing dead fleas on their tummies. within 24hrs there were no flees to be found on either dog, and have remained flee free for the past few days. Proof that if they were picking up new flees from the environment that the current product is working vs the frontline+ which was not.

Dont know how much more proof you need that the Frontline product was not working as advertised in my area. Could be an adaption by the flees in my area to the current formula, or (what i belive) they changed the formula to attempt to save cost that has resulted in a less effective product.

For the comment on capstar. Yes that is a get rid quick thing. for a dog that is crazy infested or one that you want them dead fast to bring it inside, within 24 hours all fleas and larvae, i think, will be dead. It will stop working after a cople days. you also need something else, advantix advantage revolution comfortis, so on.

The wife said there is some spray that there going to start caring that you spray in your house and carpet and linin etc that is not harmful to people but will control thoose hard to kill fleas that are laying eggs in the couch or rugs that the flea bomb might not get, i think it kils eggs larvae and adults too.

Im not as up on it as she is but some of these pet products do different things one is a flea birth control so it does nothing to the active adults they have to die which is why there are things like capstar, and they all have to bite to die so you may always see a flea or two that is ust jumped on.
