ym3000 running rough

Hi all,
1st time posting need your help. I have a ym3000. It ran great until I broke a fuel line. I called hoyle tractor to find a fuel line. They did not have one. I went to my local John Deere dealer and got a fuel line for a john deere 950. It looked the same. Now my problem is it is hard to starts and runs rough. When engagind pto for brush hog it almost dies. Graded snow this moring, dogged out at wot. Any input would be more than appricative. Thanks Jim

Are we talking low pressure or high pressure fuel line? If it is high pressure line did you bleed the air off at the injector the line went to? Sounds like you may be missing on a cylinder.

high pressure. I bled the lines. I bled the screws on the filter and the injector pump. I did not bleed where the fuel line go to the injectors. Should I have done that? And if so would you leave the tractor run and just crack the line loose alittle?

You could do it running or not running, you will be dealing with high pressure either way. I would try loosing the fitting at the injector, crank the engine over with decompression pulled watching for air and or diesel coming out. When your satisfied no air tighten up and crank up.

If the engine runs, it's much easier on the starter to bleed the line w/the engine running. As soon as you see fuel coming out of the cracked (opened) injector nut, the cylinder should be firing. Tighten the nut, you're done!!

Thanks guys figured it out. Dead cyclinder Had the part in wrong when I put it back in the injector pump. Works like a charm now.
