Oil & Fuel YM2500 Pushing Coolant Out the Radiator

**UPDATE 09-17-2025 Wednesday**

Fredricks will be picking up the tractor from my house as soon as they get a truck down this way, and bringing it back to their shop to fix it.

I’ve been emailing Danny at Fredricks and he assured me they haven’t forgotten about me and haven’t been putting me off.

I will update date more when I find out what’s next.

GREAT NEWS!!

Around 3:30 pm today, a driver with Fredricks Equipment called me. He said he will be here around 10:00 am tomorrow morning to pickup my YM2500 to bring it back to their repair facility and have it fixed.

I will update when I find out more.

Great News! The tractor is fixed.
They replaced the engine block and installed all new internals. The also replaced the seat, fuel bowl, and muffler (but not sure why).

The only problem is they don’t want to deliver it back and I DO NOT have the money to go pick it up. I don’t know what to do. There’s no tellings how long it will have to sit there before I can come up with the money to go get it. My girlfriend and I would love to make an overnight trip to go pick it up, but we just don’t have the extra funds.
I have drove there twice already. Once for the initial purchase, and again for the first engine replacement (which wasn’t fixed). This will be the 3rd time to make the trip and it will take every bit of $600 to go get it and drive back. It’s about 7 hours one way and we’d have to get a hotel room for a night. It will probably need a new battery by the time we’re able to pick it up. I am so stressed with this now.

BTDT. Spalding was local and I was unable to travel at the time. The owners did not know what the leak was. On the YM2500 refurbished. Steve told me what he thought it was and of course he was correct. Loose connection at the Hyd. pump. I just had to tighten it up. I knew that I would have to take it to him if I couldn't fix it. My son drove me. They left the 3point lift lock on IMHO. and tried to lift it and it started leaking at the O-ring on the pump.. Wonder what the cost would be to ship it to and from them. 50 miles each way for a leaking O-ring. Perfect example why! Just saying...........

I have some more good news.
Stephen Fredricks (general manager) emailed me back yesterday and said if they got a truck that was heading towards my direction, they would bring my tractor to me. I emailed him back and said that sounds perfect and in the meantime I’ll be trying to come up with the money to come pick it up.

I also sent Danny Speakman (parts manager) an email asking if the tractor was completely ready and if it had been ran up to operating temperature, with no leaks, or running hot issues.
He replied back that the tractor is ready to be picked up, no issues, “tractor has been ran, ran under load on dyno, no leaks, no rattles.”

I may be blessed soon with having the money to go pick the tractor up. I’m waiting on that anytime now. I pray that God allows it to happen.
