Comparison YM2010 and YM2310 differences

Does anyone know if there are any differences in the two other than displacement and rear wheel size? Mainly curious if the trans and engine block were the same.

Not a definite answer but I can tell you according to Hoyes parts they both use the same main bearings, rod bearings, pan gasket, valve cover gasket, valves. Of course sleeves, pistons, and head gasket are different.

Both transmissions use the same transmission gasket and power shift valve gasket.

I also notice Tractor Data gives the 2310d a weight of 1984lbs and the 2010d 2060lbs. Surely some bad information there??
