ym1700 oil pressure

I have just finished installing mechanical gauges on my 1700 and I had a post on the running temperature, but what is the oil pressure supposed to be. There was a post on the oil pressure for a 1500; would it be the same? I mowed an acre or so yesturday and after it was up to running temp it held around 35 psi (according to the new gauge).

The oil pressure on my YM1700 runs 35-40 psi at 1000 rpm, and 50-55 psi at full throttle. These pressure readings are after about an hour of use. I use Shell Rotella 15W-40.

allenp: Mine is holding at 35-40 at 1800-2000 RPM. When first started, it will be around 20 psi or so and climb to 35-40 after about 3-5 minutes of run time. I am also using the Rotella 15W40.
