yanmar ym2000 starter

I am trying to find a starter for a Yanmar 2000. I have read where it is the same starter that is in a nissan 83 pickup, but the poster didnt put the engine size on his post. I also read where the starter is the Hitachi S104-114 but have been unable to locate one. Any help would be appreciated

do you need a complete starter or can the old one be rebuilt? Look around your area- you may be surprised on what some of the local, independent shops can do. Good luck
