thanks for the help i will try and get the seal in the link you said first if i cant i will go with the 10. instead of the 9. i seen in the link there were two diffrent types just the last two lettere were different between them whats the diffrence ? thanks

The one with the AE prefix has the nitrile coating around the outer part of the seal. See the diagram at the top of page 98. The shaded blue area is where the nitrile coating is applied. The first row is the one that matches the part number in your picture.

yes thats what you ment by the shinny black front? ok the guy from hoye got back to me about the rear inner seal and was very helpful he says the seal has a odd lip but the measurments he gave me was 60x85x14 .? they seem very helpful indeed at hote as i explained i could do to get it asap. i will def be using them to get my filters and bit that im not needing the next day to have as spares.

eeek.... whats growing in there? looks to have had water in it for a long time. be sure to clean it out good n proper otherwise all your work will be a waste of time.

I agree Neat. That's why I asked him if he's drained the front too. Probably would be a good idea to pull the pan of the transmission too to be sure there's not a pile of crud in that one too.

yes im cleaning it out got most done and just got the hydro screen cleaned and blown out. next thing will be to make the gaskets . but its the rear seal im not sure about as hoye recon its a 60x85x14 ?any one remember fitting one and the size. thanks

Have the shop thats doing your press work to measure the seal. They should have a micrometer to confirm the size. The numbers on it match the size on the list that I linked. I think diesel fuel in a spray bottle would be good to wash down the inside but someone may have a better suggestion.

yes i know the link you sent
part number AE3295EO comes up with seal size 62x85x9 and hoye its 60x85x14? im going to double check with hoye will let you know. thanks

ok guys i got the number of the rear axle seal its nok ae3295e thats whay damammel thought ok the nearest i can get to that is a 62x85x10? its a nitrile rubber seal .its 1mm wider rest is the same?what do you guys think?

1mm should be fine. That is a wide sleeve and as long as the sleeve is smooth.
