Yes, that kind of stinks as it gains on strength by forcing me to align it to the exact slot. Makes it lots harder. I must have tried for 25 minutes the first time until I figured out the notch thing. bw

The dealer I bought my 1401d from has tillers for $100 if you bought a tractor from him. I guess the metal is worth that much! I think he sells them for about $300+- otherwise. My Yanmar Tiller (5ft, gear drive, model RS 1300) did not come withthe guage wheels. Is there a good source for replacements?
Guy ibought it from said he didn't like the wheels, but it sounds like they would make tilling a little easier? I have not used the tiller yet - just got the tractor last fall.

I have a wheel for my RS 1202 and the guy I bought it from never used it. The problem I have is when I try to use the tiller it shakes the bee geebees outta me and my 1401d. Is this because of rocks or ????? I haven't had much luck with my tiller any pointers would be fantastic. As usual, thanks in advance for your replies. Nick

I also have a 1401D with a 3 point tiller. It shakes and bounces pretty good when I hit rocks. Have you tried it in smooth, rock-free soil? I don't have wheels on mine so I have to constantly adjust the 3 point hitch height when the dirt gets rocky.
