Yanmar F16 Grille

anyone out there have or know where I can locate/purchase a front plastic grill for a Yanmar F16 tractor. I put an ad in the Want ads but I thought I'd throw it out here as well. My neighbor is the one interested. Please email him at bstdbck@aol.com if you have any info. Thanks much.

The grill is not available Yanmar USA, it may be available in Japan.

We tried to get a grill for one of our F15s. They told us they had three on the shelf here in the US but could not sell them to us because they are a gray market part. Isn't that about the dumbest thing you've ever heard ?

I hate it when a grill jumps up and kills someone. What are they going to do with it if they can't sell it. I guess they will sell it to a liquidator who will then sell it.

Thanks for the responses so far. Yes my neighbor called someone in Japan and they told him it would take a minimum of six weeks to get it. He is looking to sell this tractor much sooner than that if possible.

Order the grill and drop ship it to the new owner..... Or find a buyer that is more interested in a tractor that works good vs. looking good. I still think hoods and grills should be structural so they could be used as welding tables....maybe with a big vise mounted on the front.... hooks on the sides for tire chains and rigging..... Something you can stand on or better yet jump on. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I could make you a custom flamed grill out of stainless it would be way cool and cheaper. Thanks I'll ask him tonight what he wants to do. I think he gets his "greys" from one of your sources. I like your idea of the vise though. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Custom made grille would look cool.
