Hey those are nice trees! My sister has one of those aluminum trees with the light that has a rotating wheel which shines red, yellow, and green. I think they were popular in the sixties. After watching it for a while, you start to turn those same colors.

Some people think the Aluminum trees are collectors items and the colored wheels. This year we have a cut cedar tree? It grew while we had it tied to the car? They look smaller in the woods???We are Making sure the base gets plenty of water. I love the smell of a Cedar tree...

Yep, must have been a thing with grandparents because mine had one too. My sister found hers on e-bay and I don't think it was cheap. Guess they are "collectable" now.

We've just got a 5 foot fibre optic tree with snow men on it.

It is four years old now and still works very well.

I'll get a picture of it up later!

Here is this year's "free range" cedar tree. For at least the past decade my wife has wanted a tree we cut from our land. We have never planted any and have just taken the cedars that grow wild at the edge of the woods. It is not the prettiest tree, but it has special meaning.

Not your traditional look!
