Strangely enough in the starting system section, it references only the 4 fuse MEC diagram rather than the HST model. That's the difference in the fuse block. Post # 5 at least shows the proper diagram. Right now everything is absolutely dead?
Is there something specific that you think may help? A good reminder to is to cover the basics. IE have the battery load tested, check grounds and main terminals for corrosion etc. I'm sure you are very frustrated with the old girl.
" I'm sure you are very frustrated with the old girl." I think I wore it out. Granted it has been worked pretty hard. But the electrical is baffling me to no end. I have changed nearly every switch ie. lockout. Tested almost everything and now the right schematic does help. I have changed the starter solenoid, safety relay, and still nothing. Battery is good, connectors will be rechecked. At 74 my patience is almost as lazy as I am. Anyway the schematic helps I'm gonna keep at it.
Hi Tom,
Well, today I charged up the battery and went thru the lock-out switch and starter circuit everything checks out still nothing I flip up the seat and start looking around in aggravation I pull off the wires with the seat switch one spade terminal looks crusty I grab a wire brush remove the crud from the terminals and the wire terminals put the connections back on flip down seat and turn the key on the damn thing started. Now I will move on to the hydraulic issue. It's a stuck spool on the bucket twist or rotation. I will try a disconnect on the lines first. If you have a detail on the front loader valve or hyd. flow diagram. would be great.
Thanks again,
Hopefully I can find some info. Info on the loader valve itself is about nil. Besko loader valve 801z1-8000 on mine. Have you removed the boot on the valve itself to clean and lube up the works?
When connecting hydraulic hoses: Loader down/retract cylinder, yellow coupler (1). Loader up/extend cylinder, green coupler (2). Bucket up/retract cylinder, red coupler (3). Bucket dump/extend cylinder, blue coupler (4).
Tom,
Thanks again I have a besko loader valve 801z1-8000 too. I checked the connectors blue and red a bit cruddy but clean up and reconnects ok. The boot and linkage are again cruddy but working ok. Still nothing no dump yet. I will research the valve before tearing it down. Research is sketchy at best it's a 2 spool valve not too much there. It will come apart and likely to find a stuck cross flow issue.
