XG3025 Delivered

Just got my new tractor delivered this morning. Been playing for around for an hour or so to get used to it. Loader had small drip leak, tightened bolts and leak is gone Had to go 5 hrs away for purchase but saved a lot of money. Neighbors told me to come over and grab their 5' bushhog and get a shot, that is on for this afternoon

Mine came with loaded rers R4 style tires. I couldn't be happier with it, I pull a 6ft bush hog for the fields, It has assisted me in pulling 30-40 ft pine trees that had fallen and I have turned over half a dozen tree roots with little effort. I will be using a 5ft tiller in the near future for my garden fall turning. Bigger is better but this fits me just right.

I have the J2023 that's 23HP, but I know your machine is a lot bigger and heavier, so didn't know if it felt underpowered to you or not. My dealer has one they want me to trade mine on.

doesn't feel underpowered at all. Tell the dealer to put on a 6 ft bushhog and drive it around engage it, I can hardley tell it is back there and I was cutting about 3 ft tall thick grass that my zero turn bogged down on when it was 8" tall (field grasses). check out the lift capacities as compared to other makes and it comes in around the 30-35 hp class of tractors. I was contemplating a Kioti CK3510 but this was such a better value that I pulled the trigger on the LS.

I will definitely do that. I'm just afraid it won't be enough of a difference from my J2023.

how big is your bucket? mine is 66" wide and the break out rating is 2K lbs of force. This is a full size tractor but not a diesel glutton. traction is usually determined by tires vs weight H.P. is plays a small part unless you are doing something that isn't recommended. I think of the tractor as tool and it fits in the tool box nicely and works when I need it. Good luck to you and your decision.

I'm looking at the xg3025 also but no dealers in Washington state carry them. They go from xj2025 to xg3135 which is $4k more. Keep us up to date on hours and take pictures of some of the chores you use it for.

I pulled a few 4x4 posts out of the ground (concreted) but I got rained on for the last 2 and couldn't take pics tomorrow should be a better day.
