I live on 6 acres in graham Washington. Ground very hard. Most of major stuff done. Need tractor for mowing, road grading, yard maintenance and spreading rock and topsoil.
Is the 3025 got enough HP you think(large tractor frame). Sat on Xj2025 and too small for my 6'3 frame, knees almost touch steering wheel and I have to lift my whole leg up for the hydostatic pedals, not comfortable at all
Will get F.EL. And grading scraper for now, future backhoe(possibly, I get deals on renting) I can borrow rock rake, box scraper and bush hog. Land pretty flat except for 1 slope of about 30' drop over 100' not steep at all. Partially wooded in back, gets a little moist in the back.

Not much for LS dealers around here but specs on tractors are awesome. 2 somewhat dealers, one works out of his farm and other is a rental outfit that just started selling them. Both 1 hour away or so.

Looked at all brands but only dealers around here are kubota and deere and both very very expensive here. About $2k-$4k more for less tractor. Kubota just ended 0% for 84 months also b2650 with F.E.L and grading scraper was $24k after Money down and payments
Same Ls is about $18k new

Lots of used kubotas $$$

Any help much appreciated

You mention that the used kubotas are $$$, and I have seen that too. One thing to consider if you ever want to sell is that you might not take that much of a loss. Also buying the BH later may be quite a bit more expensive from what others say on the forum.

I am loving my LS and it is just the size I need, but I also had a good experience at the dealer and that factored in quite a bit to my purchase. I see that you found the prices that RCO is charging, and their prices seemed in line with my local dealer. The LS prices seem pretty consistent, but someone with more experience can chime in.

How are you taking care of your land currently?

I have 16 acres and just got my xg3025. Bush hogged a few fields and ran a 6 ft er with no problems. If you are taking on 4 ft grass , I would go with a 5 ft er . Very comfortable tractor to operate and drive.

I have 6.33 acres and bought the LS XG3140 (40HP) from RCO Tractor, with the grapple and box blade. It's a work horse! The extra lift capacity has been great to lift large stumps and boulders.

When I stated looking I was leaning towards a 30 HP, now after owning it for a month I'm glad I bought the 40.

If you can afford it I would spend the extra $$$ for more HP.

For not much more than the 24K you quoted you can get an LS with a cab.
The 3025 will do all the chores mentioned, just go to the dealer and try it out to make sure you fit.
