Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!!! My re-engined X585 finally came home last night. The desk service rep brought it himself once he determined that he could not get the delivery on yesterday's schedule. It was after dinner and dark by the time he was able to get to me so the only thing I did was check the RPM settings which seem to be about 100 rpm below spec and put it in the shed. I will take a closer look tomorrow. They did point out that they lost one of the screws in the right rear fender handle and have the screw on order (you'd think that would be common stock). Not sure why the tech felt the need the take that handle off as it is not part of the procedure for removing the rear fender deck. They also put the 2wd-4wd selector knob on backward which is an easy fix. Engine sounds slightly higher pitched, but also quieter overall. More to come.
