Been looking at x380. I have hills around property and cut at church also. Not sure how much acreage but maybe 2 acres? I also have zoysia sod in front of home. Have tried to cut it before with a d120 but didn't give me cut I was looking for. Level wise. Not completely flat yard but seems like deck wheels on 380 actually allow deck to ride on grass instead of d120 are non adjustable and nearly even with deck. What good is that. Would the 380 be much better about not scalping when turning and cut more even? Thanks

Not interested in a zero turn. Just not my thing and doesn't seem to fit my property too well. Been there done that.

The wheels are just there to prevent scalping and not meant to be in contact with the ground all the time. The X380 has a much better deck with more adjustments than something like a D model, but I wouldn't assume it will solve your problems. Sometimes the width of the deck is responsible for scalping or uneven cuts in turns on hilly/bumpy terrain, since the deck edges swing different radii in turns.
