Hi everyone, I'm having another issue with mower and was hoping for some advice. I just replaced the pto on my mower and now it doesn't run well at all. It idled rough before I replaced the pto and blew out a little black smoke. But now when I engage the pto it barely stays runnin and will barely cut grass. It sat for a year while I was deployed overseas and never got used. I had a previous problem where one of the valves varnished from bad gas and a bolt came loose. That was when my mower only had 20hrs. And of course it wasn't covered under warranty. Anyway if anyone has had a similar issue or might know what my problem might be I appreciate the input.

Seems to be a number of possibly related problems to solve.
Might be the time to seek a tune-up at your Deere dealer.
Or get the tech manual if you want to do work yourself.
