On my third module (AM141075) failure in 6 years. First two times only the ignition kill failed. Third time the module failure caused the 15a fuse to blow, that module was an Amazon module that only lasted two months and they refunded my money. I have an OEM module in route from JD and tractor is running with one of the old modules in place with no kill circuit. Is there a root cause to the failure I should be chasing?

I think moisture is a possible culprit in these module failures.
The casing is filled with a 'latex/silicon' resin and if you look carefully at the very edge often a small crack/gap can be seen where the seal has separated which, I think, can wick moisture in to corrupt the electronics.
We're in a seaside location (moist atmosphere) and I've replaced several of these modules for customers. The early ones were prone to failure and replaced under warranty.

I'd only purchase the genuine JD part to avoid your Amazon experience.
The AM141075 revision is more reliable than its predecessors (AM13661 & AN135490) IMO

Thank you. New part will be here on Tuesday. Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

What helps protect these are good, sound electrical systems. Meaning not jump starting, decent batteries - below 250 CCA on the test I replace them, good battery cables and secure nuts on the starter solenoid. Check the charging system output. These are things I check for multiple failures.

Interesting. I have an Ionic Red Lithium starter battery that’s pretty stable voltage wise and has been problem free. Been in Service since 2022 with that battery. I have one in my G100 also about 6 months longer. I never jump started the X300 , I knew that was bad. I’ll do the once over on the electrical system cables and starter. Note: the module 6 years ago I can’t remember when and how it failed. The last two times it failed it was on the downslope of the paved driveway practically in the same place.
