Workmaster 25s flail mower.

How big of a flail mower can you run on an Workmaster 25s/LS MT125? I was going to get a Betstco 53 inch medium duty mower but they say it needs requires 22 HP at the PTO. I have one of their 53 inch rotary tillers that they say requires minimum 20 hp but doesn't even slow the tractor down on virgin ground. I don't want to go less than 48 inches because that is the width of the tractor. I want to clean out some woods and some small field mowing. What size are you running out there?

The Betsco flail at 53" will work ok on your tractor. I ran a 60" finish mower on my MT125 without issue at all. Just remember that it's using up a bunch of power, so just slow down the travel speed.
