One of the MBA corp guys said we put it all out to bid with legal drafting tight performance specifications and then hold their feet to the fire and at renewal switch if a nickle can be saved.

Good reminder - not worth doing anything more than is agreed. The people running this game get fat salaries and bonuses for slitting people's throats over 5 cents.

Update your CV and spread it around all your suppliers and everywhere. I'm sure you'd be snapped up. Maybe for more money, maybe for more fun and satisfaction. My philosophy over the years has always been " as long as someone is shoving money into my bank account I don't care what I'm doing"

I looked at 2 resumes today that were 7 pages each. They had every buzzword imaginable. Keep it concise and pertinent.

Definitely better being at Step 2 this week with my new attitude of not having the weight of the Center on my Shoulders...

All my work was done on time and in order...

I did not have time for all of the Department Special Requests but I responded to each saying staying or coming back would put my into un-authorized OT and if OT was approved to call me back... no one did.

Work week came in at 79 hours with 30 minutes of that 79 being approved OT from my Boss last week.

She asked me to wait for a vendor to make sure the Vendor knew what to do and then clock out.

Later that evening she called to ask if the Vendor had completed the repair and I had to say he had only started when I clocked out but first thing at 5 am I would take a look.

Did take about 30 minutes of after hours telephone calls to answer questions for managers and staff.... will need to work on that.

I have the only Hospital Cell a holdover from being the On Call with every call logged and 99% of all calls on this phone are work...

Thanks again to everyone that took the time to post...

Looking forward to a couple of days off at Thanksgiving... it will be a first for me in 27 years and I plan to be helping out at the Christmas Tree farm...
