Backhoe Woods backhoe on 226D

Hello everyone, wondering if anyone out there has a 226 with a factory backhoe or a woods 7500 backhoe. Planing on buying a woods 7500 and was told by the dealer that the Woods frame mount is not compatable with the factory frame for the FEL. Pretty handy with welder, thought about making my own bracket, but would like to know where the factory attached it to the tractor. it be great if I could make it so I can leave the lower lift arms on and make it kind of a quick attach Open to your suggestions and Pictures

I have put many WOODS backhoes on Yanmar 226Ds. It IS compatible with the Yanmar YFL800 and 875 Loaders. It is NOT compatible with the Town and Country 200 (YLD200).
Which loader do you have?

Hello Gary, that is good news. I actualy have a Bushhog 1846 qt loader, I used the quick attach bracket from them, but used the reinforcement ties to the rear axle from a 226 loader bracket that I had from another 226.I don't know if the bracket was for an 800 or an 875, it appeared to be quick attach. (searched everywhere for a 800 or a 875 loader and none to be found at the time)so what I ended up with is almost identical to the original yanmar set-up.(as far as the bracket goes) If the bracket is compatable, I am sure iI can make it work. Where does the Woods bracket hook to the tractor? I am assuming they use the lower lift arm attach point and something alse closer to the front of the tractor?thanks for the help

I have put the WOODS hoes on YM226D with Great Bend 220 Loader. Since Great Bend is a subsidiary of BushHog and they use the same mounting brackets, I don't think you will have a problem. In fact I have one that I just got in and set up that way, but it is a YM220D. Only $19,900.00. Anyone interested?
