Anyone know the amp load for 10-2 w/ground wire. Thinking about putting in an outlet for my camper and I have some 10-2 wire.

Normally it is 30 amps for copper. Not sure if aluminum but less. If you go to long run (like 100 feet) it will drop. Are you running a 110 or 220 circuit or do you need both? If you are trying to run a 110/220 circuit you need 10-3 with ground and not 10-2. Don't miss the insulation factor either, if running for camper suspect this will be outside and be either in conduit or buried or both.

30 amps of 110 or 220 or 600 volts. I have a huge roll leftover from my generator transfer plug.

The standard 30 amp RV plug can be used on the 30 amp circuit and you can use a 30 amp breaker on the circuit if you run the 10-2 all the way to the panel.
