I have a thread going on general discussion about 50 hp tractors but have a question that is more specific to a mahindra 5035. One comment was why the hydro version of the 5035 is several hundred pounds heavier than the gear version but looking at other brands the difference is considerable less . What would mahindra be doing different to create the difference?

This website describes that their Tractors use heavier duty materials. Perhaps this relates the same in regards to the different between the gear and hst models? www.mahindrausa.com
