Wide pallet forks

/ Wide pallet forks #21
How is using a loader different than fork lift? They both drop if a hose blows.

Potential concern with FEL could be curl cylinder hose since they could dump more than tilt on fork lift.

A telhandler usually has failsafes against falling. A regular forklift does not. A regular forklift will fall if a hose blows. At least the forklift will fall vertical and the loader is going to dump you out. I don’t think the forklift is going to fall fast enough to cause injury either. The oil still has to get out of the cylinder to allow it to come down. People fall off ladders and get hurt every single day. I’ll take my chances with the hydraulic hose anytime. If I was just using my forklift to move 4000 pound bundles of plywood what are the chances that a hose blows lifting under 1/8th that much? And I was allowing room for the platform in that figure. I’m not 500 pounds.
