I got a private message a while back asking for pictures of my modification to my Brush Grubber. Now that I have my workaround to get pictures up, I took some shots.

I just took it apart and brazed those dainty little cotter pins to the first link to use as levers for opening it up. It's a lot easier than pulling the jaws open against the spring. I just have to be careful that there is nothing to snag the handles on where I'm pulling out brush and trees.
