Who knows?Perhaps they are aware of a weakness in the drivetrain to the PTO that they fear anyone using a larger mower may exceed. If you use larger aftermarket implements, not sold by Summit, maybe you void any warranty?
Good question on the RC size. For a 24.7, 18 PTO tractor, a 48" or 54" rotary cutter in the right choice. As much as working width, the density of the brush being cut factors in as well. While a 60" cutter will work ok in some conditions, it will not work well in all conditions, so we recommend 54" max.Who knows?
It could be. It would be good to see some response. My own thoughts are that whatever attachment I am using better at least cover the wheel tracks. I know there are scenarios that doesn't apply. I am primarily talking about mowers of some sort.
