Who's got a log splitter that they run off the PT?

Would you have pictures of the upside down splitter on the FEL quick dis-connect plate ? I would like to see that. I have some monsters to split. Thanks in advance.

Ugly but it’ll split just about anything up to 32”.

I'm thinking some people are thinking the title of this thread is asking if they're running their splitter off of their PTO. The PT in the thread title stands for Power Trac.

I understand that, but many of us just read the "New Post" and (in my case) didn't realize we had posted in the Power Trac forum...

BTW, I'm old and PT stood for power take off, LONG before there was a power trac. lol

Yup, my first PT was on a Ford 8N? Was used in an apple orchard for mowing and moving bins. :thumbsup:

Mine runs off a PTO powered hydraulic pump...

What would I do different? I would have bought it a LOT sooner!!

The one that I have that runs off the remotes, it's too sloooooow...

It's a Timberwolf TW3HD,

It's fast and really kicks azz, pushing EVERYTHING through the 4-way wedge,

Even my wife loves to run it,

We roll the big ones, right off the wagon onto the splitters beam,

Anyway, I called several Timberwolf dealers, shopping the best price, then bought it...

It's one of my best buys!

Thanks, I have a system worked out and it works pretty good for me...

I cut/skid the logs out of the woods,

then use the tractor to lift and hold them over my wagon while they get cut into firewood lengths,

next, pull the load home and move the splitter into place for splitting...
