Which grease to use?

I've always thought that wheel bearing grease was superior to extreme pressure grease or multi-purpose grease. Yet while reading a tube today, it indicated that wheel bearing grease "may" be used for "certain" farm applications.
Which is the best for tractor, loader, mowerand snowblower use?

Kubota manual says NLG1 2 grease for ball bearings and roller bearings.
Look for that spec (nlg1 2) and you should be good to go.

Wheel bearing grease is most suitable for high temperatures. Dont go nuts over which grease, a 5 gal. can of Molly grease, its EP and a pump to reload your gun is all that is needed.

I like Valvoline Crimson Red. For off road applications. Find it at NAPA. Philip.

For general purpose grease, I use Sta-Lube Moly-Graph. The worst thing you can do is mix grease types. If your application uses lithium base grease, stay with lithium base.

I used Mystik JT-6 Hi-Temp NLGI #2 but I found out that it belongs to old Hugo Chavez. Now I don't know what to use. I won't finance him though.
