Hmmm? I am purchasing an F22D that should be arriving next week and I had 2 different people from the dealer read me the engine tag. The engine tag on the F22D I am purchasing is a 3TNB84UB. I wonder if its an F24D? The displacement is 1.463 liter. Maybe I need to read the tag myself... /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

My F22D arrived, I looked at the engine ID tag and it is a 3TN84-UB. There is one post that indicates this but the attachment has a 3TN82. I suspect it is a "detuned" F24D engine. Here is a pic of the tag. Either way I am very pleased.

My YM2002D has an engine code 3T80U-NB

My YM1802 has an engine code 3T80U-NB and is suppossed to be about 4 HP less than the YM2002. Does anyone know what they did to the 1802 to lower the HP in the same engine?

YMG2000G has the 3T80U-SA

Seems to be a "higher horsepower in a smaller package" tractor, based on the engine for the dimensions and weight. And, yes, I do find traction to be an issue often.

Does anyone know where I could get some compatibility info reference the Yanmar engines? I posted a thread on the john Deere portion of this forum, asking about an engine with more horsepower I could put in my Deere 655. I figured if I could get the measurement and bolt pattern specifications, I could figure out which engines would fit in my tractor.

My engine (3tn66uj) went bad and I wanted to upgrade. If this is an inappropriate question for this thread, I will move it. Thanks for the help.
