Which Back Hoe II

Thanks for all of the responses on the 47 vs. the 48... sounds like I'd be a fool to get anything but a 48 (if I can afford it! No final price yet!). Since I will be trailering it a fair amount, one problem or consideration I have is weight of either unit... does any one have those numbers? Also is there anyone out there who has a 4300 with a 47 hoe??? if so how doe it work?

47 is 1013 lb with 9" bucket
48 is 1517 lb with 12" bucket

Don't know about the performance of either as my 4700 w/ 48 hoe is due to be delivered soon.

Sniezur, Thanks for the info... by the way where did you find the weights? I asked a Dealer for the info and he couldn't come up with it! You don't know what the 430 Loader weighs, do you?

Halsey had this link posted in the John Deere Pricing thread, it has alll the retail pricing, package number, and weight info on JD and other tractors.

JD 430 loder lists as 782 lb w/ 61 " bucket. The weight includes the mounting frame and hood guard.
