Just went ahead and got a PTO snowblower (Pronovost Lynx52) and forecast looks clear for the next couple of week. I knew this will happen but stilll, it is some machine. :licking:

The last two are of the beast from couple of weeks ago big storm.

Yep, that happens. But the next big snow you get, I think you'll enjoy having a blower!

That is the surest way to guarantee no snow...the same thing has happened to me more than once...buy a new rifle, don't get time to hunt, buy new golf clubs and take a new job...

I don't see a Lynx listed on the Pronovost site, just the P series and Puma. Where does the Lynx compare between the other two? If you don't mind me asking, what was the cost? Thanks

It is made by Hardy who also make Pronovost Puma, the label on it reads Hardy, Pronovost, Lynx52. I compared it to the Puma 54 and seems to be very similar in parts numbers and design.

I paid $2200 delivered to my house in NJ from NY.

I appreciate you getting the blower hooked up as a fellow new jerseyan I am going to enjoy our 50 deg weather this weekend. I finally get to see my grass again. I probably owe all the nice weather to your action.

Also got my 52" Meteor hooked to my BX here in SJ standing by the garage door scaring away the snow.
That last big snow here was like glue, the blower was riding up on top of it leaving a few inch thick packed layer, not like the past powder snows.
Anyone out there put weights on their snowblower for some down force?

It wasn't ALL your doing. I also contributed to this clear forcast. I just purchased this Curtis cab for my JD. Was going back and forth as to whether to install it or not. Never owned a cab before, so I just couldn't wait. Now that I did, you can almost guarantee nice weather for the rest of this season anyway.

And to top it all, the snow mounds are melting and I can't play; I mean clean them up.

Oh i thought the nice weather coming was because my brother bought a new snowmobile and a 4wheeler with a plow. It drove me nuts waiting for snow with my new kubota bx2660 with rear snow blower! good luck, stock up on shear pins!

Hi there Mow4fun, nice shinny unit. Just thinking if you want to try your rig out just put it on a trailor and bring it to my house. We all have lots of untouched snow in our driveways and I'll even provide the diesel. It's just not right to have a blower and no snow to use it in. Also right now were getting heavy Lake Effect snow so you'de better hurry. . . . Enjoy the break in weather down there. . . John

Noticed a FEL on your tractor. I'm about to take delivery on a next BX2360 and wonder if you have had any success in using the FEL to clear snow (as opposed to blowing it)?
