I am at the 400 hrs mark, time to change fluid for the first time. I have a hoe that stays on and only comes off with the snow. My issue is where to add the new fluid. Looks like the hoe return line must be removed to add fluid. Are there any other spots or do I have to remove the return quick disconnect to add the fluid?

The Hoe return line is the fill port.

Say what? My hoe's hydro lines plug into the two remote connectors. I have a separate fill spot at the rear. :confused3:

Yea, theres a kit supplied to the dealers that comes with the backhoe attachment, some dealers apparently think they know more than Kioti and don't install them.

Depending on how many backhoes your dealer has sold, he probably has the kits stacked up like cordwood.

There is a vent tube that gets installed in place of the little plastic plug that is up and to the left of the PTO shaft.

Then there is another fitting that replaces the fill plug for the HYD, the return on the Backhoe gets plugged into that.

My hoe was lacking power, it has more power since the kit was installed, and the hyd fluid stays cooler.

It clearly shows the kit in the owners book for the Hoe, sect. 13-4

Your Backhoe would run cooler and stronger if it was plumbed right.

Stronger is good and who doesn't want to be cooler. :cool2: I'm in!

Tell your dealer you want the kit your BH came with.

I'll give him a call on Monday, thanks for the info on this. Is this something he needs to put on or can I do this at home?

You can do it easily, If you have a hard time [which I doub't] I'll take photo's.

2 things: the new vent goes where there is a bolt, not a plastic screw (at least in my case) and I did not find myself having any more power than before.
