Where are all the threads?

Last night I was reading through all the threads in the Customization category and I book marked page 17 before I went to bed. Today the category stops at page 15. What happened?

Ok, I went back and checked again and now there are 63 threads. I swear that there were only 15 pages a minute ago! I have show 40 items per page selected.

Ok, I figured it out by myself. When I am logged on all the old posts show up since that is what I set in my preferences. When I am not logged on the site reverts to the default and shows on a few of the posts.
