wheels or skids for snowblower

I am thinking about putting wheels or skids on my front mount snowblower. its 60" wide and very heavy about 600 # has any one had any luck doing this

My B74 Blizzard blower has adjustable skids on it. I don't think wheels would work well, unless you can keep packed snow/ice from forming on the surface

yes i have adj. skids on it but my driveway is 200 long and all sand until it freezes they just dig in hard.
