What\'s It Worth - JD 332

I am selling a JD 332 tractor, 50" deck, and 54" front blade with hydraulic angle. The blade and deck are in good condition, but the tractor has high hours (3000+). Formerly used to cut cemetary lawns. The tractor is in fair to good condition, it runs strong but is starting to show signs of blow-by. It is well maintained and has no significant leaks, but does show the usual wear and tear from high use. Any guidance in pricing the package would be helpful. Thanks in advance.

I just traded in my 332 with the same set up (deck and blade). The blow-by indicates the need for rings to be replaced (did mine a couple years ago). The hour meter on mine was missing when I bought it, but had at least 1500 hours on it. Funny - mine came from a cemetery also.

Anyway, the dealer told me that "high book" was $1900 for tractor deck, plus $300 for blade. I traded in on a new tractor, so he did a lot better for me.

A cherry 332 would probably sell upward to $3000 to $3500. In your condition, I think I'd try for $2000 and go from there.
