I like to mow or finish some job and have fuel left over. Lets say you mow 4 acres and sometimes you run out of gas when the grass was overly tall. When I do any job, I like to know I can finish it..

If you run out of gas mowing then it was your poor planning that didn't stop earlier to fill up.

In 2016 my EGo 21" SP would not quite mow the entire lawn on one charge of the 7.5Ah battery. Changed my strategy, mowed front one day, back another. Doctor recommended 25 minutes of good exercise a day so this provided another day of keeping my doctor happy.

Suitcase weights still run $1 per pound? Heck, barbell plates might be another solution, with a convenient bolt hole in their middle.

My youngest went to a scrap yard and got 4 brake drums from a semi for cheap, also with a hole in the center as well as several little ones. Gawd-awful heavy buggers!

Have to say the guy across the road sprung for an EGO riding mower, got half his lawn mowed and it died. Went back the next day for a real gas powered mower and probably saved some jack as well.

If you want easy to mount weights, peruse FBMP or Flea Bay for Olympic Weight plates. You can get them used for cheap and they come up to 100 pounds per plate.

Springs make the yard wet. They are normally qone by now but all this rain we've had, they kept flowing this summer.
