How many batteries have you purchased, and at what total cost?

One of those 9ah looks to be about $140

Read the last few pages of this thread! It was mostly about those battery costs, and the cost of fuel they're offsetting.

He just reported $225 / pair, a few posts back.

IIRC no-name clone EGo batteries, which is what the above 9Ah are also too.

A brand who doesn't expect to be around long enough for you to collect on the warranty isn't going to use the good cells to build a battery.

Mowed yesterday cutting less than overly tall grass conditions. If I really stay on top of mowing, seems I don't need the extra batteries anyway. (it came with 4 ego batteries in the 6 available battery positions). Having said that, when I removed the 2 that went bad over the winter, my traction suffered. So I want all batteries in there for taller grass cuttings and traction. 100% of our yard is a hillside.

Suitcase weights still run $1 per pound? Heck, barbell plates might be another solution, with a convenient bolt hole in their middle. :D

I like to mow or finish some job and have fuel left over. Lets say you mow 4 acres and sometimes you run out of gas when the grass was overly tall. When I do any job, I like to know I can finish it..

Yeah, I mowed 3 acres of 12" tall grass yesterday. Lots of rain this year
