I don't need spacers as I have a 3120 and it's spaced out properly but how much do you guys think chains really help? I know they're cheap and all but I don't want to spend money I don't have too. My tractor plows pretty well but I guess she does have a little slip and slide in her so how much do you "NEED" your chains?

I have a steep long driveway & part of it is tarred so chains were IMO a needed item. Truth be told I prayed about it & told God I wanted some chains for a deal. One day later I found some in the swap & sell guide, the next day I bought the brand new 2-llink tire chains to fit my tractor for $100 off a guy that bought them & never used them.

I'd say if you haven't really needed them,...then you don't really need them. Also they are kind of a pain to put on & take off. :banghead:

I bought mine from Woods. I think they were $125.;)

The spacers?

Yeah I did a bunch of research on-line &* found that Woods made some spacers for the Mahindra so a frame mount backhoe would fit.:)

Thanks.

George, will these spacers Wyld Bill found from Woods work for you or should I still ask my friends how much to make a set?

Yeah they come with longer high grade bolts although,...the guy I go tminethrough ordered the spacers for the wrong tractor so th espacers were correct but the bolts I got were the wrong thread pitch so he had to get bolts from Grainger for me.

Robert, Yes they will work. I looked at the Woods site but have not found the spacers. Will probably have to call them to verify the price and shipping. As I mentioned before I really haven't had a need for chains in the past 7 years. If I can get them for that price then I'll have to start looking for chains.
Thanks,

Sounds good. If they don't have them available still and you do decide you want that price just let me know.

Thanks again Robert. I just emailed Woods and Bro-Tek to provide info on spacers if they are available. If either responds I will post for any other members.

I'd like a personal assistant to do the maintenance on my tractor. Specifically, a female; about 5' 2", eyes of blue, could she could she could she coo. Has any body seen my gal?
