Here's one I hate: "Google is your friend." Some idiot who doesn't even support the forum appoints himself to be bandwidth cop to scold people for posting. Anyone who has ever said, "Google is your friend," should be banned from the web.

In fact, any kind of post Karening by jerks who aren't mods. "Already discussed." "Do your research before posting." SHUT UP, Barney Fife! I guarantee you, the TOS don't say anything about how you're supposed to tell other people what to post.

I also hate being chased by low-IQ morons who follow me from subforum to subforum just to pick fights. This has happened to me on various sites. Here's an amazing fact: if you don't like someone's posts, you shouldn't read them. But many, many people are just too stupid to get it.

Here's another one: being "corrected" by stupid people. For example, I say, "It's around 90 million miles to the sun," and some pea-brain pipes up and said, "Nah, it's 93 million." Thanks, Ralph Wiggum. Really helpful. Look up "around." Then look up "aphelion" and "perihelion."

Also, saying "nah" when you're stupid and you're trying to correct smart people.

I really don't have a problem with getting a foreigner when I call a company, it's not their fault, and you shouldn't treat them badly. They're just some poor schlep trying to put food on the table for their family, just like you. Blame the company, don't take it out on some poor employee who's probably in a worse situation than you are.

But I'm with scootr on slow drivers, particularly those irrational ones who get irritated and tailgate me at high speed, after I pass them for going to slow. If you want to go slow, that's fine, it's your business. But don't get irritated when people who don't want that end up safely passing you.

I used to pass the slowpokes that were blocking an open fast lane. My game was to merge back in front of them with just an inch or less between my back bumper and their front bumper. Once, I thought I heard a "click" as I merged back in.
Glad I don't do that anymore, these days some of the games I played with idiot drivers would get me some free hot lead.

Our county will mow (scalp and miss areas mostly) county roads about
twice a year if we're lucky. So most farms, ranches, hobby farms, land owners etc
will mow the road frontage in front of their properties. Prior to mowing "the road",
I will pick up the trash, dirty diapers, whiskey bottles, wine bottles, fast food
wrappers (of every fast food place known to man), hub caps, busted mobile
phones, beer cans (of nearly every brand), styrofoam cups & ice chest lids,
etc etc Yea, I've picked up that kind of stuff repetitively. Some guys just mow
over it and shred it up because they're tired of cleaning up after some rude little
prick that thinks the country side is the worlds toilet. Toss it out the window or
let it blow out the pick up bed. Not their problem anymore. Either the little
turdettes were raised in a pig sty, or are so selfish and entitled they never learned
any type of general citizenship or manners. Too entitled. They don't get that
someone has to clean up their mess. Or they flat out don't care. What a waste
of time for the land owners, who are trying to care for animals, crops, land improvements,
machinery maintenance, and making the numbers/efforts work.
There's not a Quicky Mart or gas station anywhere that doesn't have trash cans.
All they have to do is toss it there. I just don't get it.

If you catch the perp in the act, don some gloves and pick up the offending material on the hood of their car, right above or in the air vent intake.

Takes no effort to police your trash… maybe too few scouts in today’s world?

I volunteer to police a small section of creek and find tires, shopping carts, busted bottles, etc.

More recently it’s doggy pooper bags in the creek.

Someone once asked me to describe a place where I would like to live and I said let’s start with a place where private property is respected and people pick up after themselves…

Trash and graffiti are frequent complaints about my city and I have caught a few dumpers and each one was from nearby cities coming to my city to dump or abandoned cars…

I have to say, on my first trip to the Bay Area, I was flabbergasted by the amount of roadside trash, especially old used mattresses thrown out and abandoned.

I have traveled most of the Midwest and south, some of the east, and west, but the Bay Area struck me to be the worst experience of my life
