What is a pump dump?

In looking at the hydraulic schematic two of the functions are single acting cylinders with load holding PO checks so you need pressure to open the checks to lower so not sure if there is two stage relief to just supply pilot pressure for these functions. It is not shown on the schematic that I could see.

Only dump valves shown on schematic are the pump unloading and they only unload the pump.

Do you know if this lift had some option for an accumulator. If yes the boost dump might refer to unloading the accumulator.

An accumulator is not listed in the options shown for my machine.
I've left a couple messages for tech support to call me but haven't heard back. I want to ask them about some of this stuff that I can't understand. For years the same guy always answered the phone on their tech support line and he always knew exactly what I was talking about. I'm guessing like all big companies they've gotten rid of the people who know anything and replaced them with minimum wage people reading from a script.
