Oh, I'm still here, Richard; every day. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif However, things have been a bit hectic with my wife's little breast cancer surgery, an aunt of hers that had a stroke and had to be moved into an assisted living facility, an aunt of mine who died this past week (went to the funeral Saturday), my wife's sister's husband died Saturday and we can't make it to West Virginia in time for the funeral tomorrow because of my wife's doctors appointments today and tomorrow, but after tomorrow, we'll be gone to West Virginia for a week (unless the doctor today says we can't go and I don't expect that). So you won't hear from me from a week at least after tomorrow. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

And I've been fightin' this computer and the weird things it's been doing the last couple of weeks.

Hey Henro, I'm still around. Thanks for asking. I'm in a hot place with alot of sand right now, so I don't get to check in as much as I used to. Computer time is kind of limited at times as well.

Nope, no problems here...except for eating too much and enjoying liquid calories... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Not so easy to browse the internet either...now at my brother-in-laws so I can use his computer...but on the road it is not possible to easily get connected...

Thanks, Rick and Andy. My wife's having a "bone scan" this afternoon, and then 7 weeks of follow up radiation to start when we get back from West Virginia next week. But at least the doctors seem very optimistic that this can be completely cured.

Sounds like you're visiting some of the places that I visit several times each decade. I jokingly call the trips "military paid vacations to sunny and sandy locations". And if we're talking about the same type locations, I fully understand about the "limited" computer access time.

I can relate to the radiation theropy as I went through about 7 weeks (35 Monday-Friday treatments) of radiaton to my right leg (knee area). In my case the first few weeks were not a big deal, but during the last 2 weeks the radiated area looked and felt like a really bad sunburn.

I won't discuss any more at this time since I don't know how much detail that you'd want to hear. However, I'm always willing to talk about and share any information about my experience with you (or anyone else). I know that through sharing my experiences that I've encouraged several people to have suspicious lumps, warts, and moles checked out; at least one of them found cancer as a result.
