Dealer is too far for something like this.

Grabbed a 17MM socket and short handle ratchet. I was able to move two of the bolts without a whole lot of effort. Tomorrow I'll go after them with a torque wrench.

I have two, a 3/8" and a 1/2" drive, both HF clickers and 17MM sockets in both drives. Both will do 36 Ft Lbs, but the 1/2" bottoms out at 30. Does it matter?

Well, you need to be a minimum of 33 ft/lbs, max of 40. I would go for 36 at least, probably more like 38, giving 2 lbs leeway.

I bet your leak was from those two being barely tight. Let us know after you get them torqued down.

This is why I would call dealer and see what they say the torque specs are! I have had equipment that had parts fall off during use brand new equipment! And 6 months later had updated torque specs come out because enough people had problems and on one of them the manufacturer even sent out replacement parts of they had to be replaced!

I've tightened what I can. I still have a leak. I can't determine the origin. I am not pleased.

Started ripping up an old trailer slab and clearing a few trees so I can move my driveway. My concrete ballast box weighs approximately 1750# , I drop it on the slab a few times to get a crack started and then lift out the pieces. It is working better than expected so far!

I got 2.5 hours digging the hillside back a little more. It is slow going between the heavy clay soil and the incessant rocks, from fist to garbage can size.

Dig a little with the bucket and toothbar, then pick out rocks with the grapple. Repeat.IMG_20200624_163712.jpgIMG_20200624_162914.jpg

A few years back I had a large driveway about 100 ft long by 30ft wide that was from the 60s six inch thick concrete with some pipe in it so I made a wrecking ball by welding 2 semi trailer brake drums together and welding a broken splitting wedges to the bottom and a loop on top that had rear going into it then filled with concrete and used my backhoe to lift it up and drop it on a chain! Just set up backhoe and lift and drop in a arch then back up 2 feet do again made it into small enough pieces to get it in front end loader! That box of yours is a bit heavier than my wreaking ball lol

I'm just glad there wasn't any steel in the concrete! :)

Once again, it wasnt today exactly, but this last Saturday. I got hired to mow down a large field of tall grass and weeds. But before I can get out to the field, I have got to service my rotary mower and get it hooked up properly. I adjusted the slip clutch, greased everything, put too much oil in the gear box, inspected the blades, and filmed it all! Its a long one, but worth it.

YouTube

Part 2, where I actually mow will be coming up soon!

Thanks for watching!
