What did you do on or to your LS Tractor today?

A bit over 6 hours brushhogging today, should be able to finish tomorrow.

Interesting find. Managed to break the attachment point for the 3pt stabilizer.appears to have broken the weld.

I remember hitting a rock in a rather weird way, saw the cutter make a violent lurch, but slip clutch seemed ok and didn’t break the shear bolt so kept mowing. Imagine my surprise to find the stabilizer resting on the lift arm when I quit.

Yikes. Guess you were on fairly level ground? Surprised the cutter did not move into the tires a few times.

actually not that level

And I observe the mower via my rear camera so didn’t notice anything unusual after the rock strike. The stabilizer on other side likely prevented extreme movements.

I had a similar issue with my attachment bracket. There are two styles brackets: a welded pin on single clevis or a double Clevis with a slide through pin. The double clevis is a redesign for a more robust bracket. LS sent my inquiry to a dealer for warranty determination But I was out if the two year period. Make sure to replace the bracket with the new design. Mine was a simple bolt on attachment with hardened bolts. Sorry but don’t know how to link to my thread...

Thank you for that. Found your thread. Was hoping for a pic of the new, perhaps some sort of reference/part # i can take to my dealer. I was hoping maybe it was replaceable with something like a lift pin, but found out the ball is part of the broken piece. Looks just like yours. My thought was to remove and get it cleaned up and welded, but if I can get the update....

In the meantime I reused the bracket I made when I lost thetractor half of the stabilizer last year.

I got another 5.8 hours brushhogging with it today. Will stop by dealer tomorrow while in town.

Don’t have a pic of the bracket. Tomorrow if I get to shop.
Here’s a photo of invoice. (LS sent my info to a dealer in Florida but I’m in northern Alabama!) I broke right side bracket and then the stabilizer link. So I went run replace both the LH and RH bracket with the new design D had them dropped shipped directly to me. But LS sent me new the correct new style RH bracket but the incorrect old style LH bracket. Dealer says LS will frequently substitute items on orders if it’s out of stock! I’m waiting for the correct part to be available for the LH side. (But I can’t really tell if the part numbers are correct. So have your dealer verify numbers)

Dealer ordered.

Hope they are right ones. I didn’t get to talk with him (sent email) and will query as to warranty. He delivered my tractor 1 year ago tomorrow.

It's under warranty which is why I don't want to try too much. Dealer is 80 miles away and I'll have to rent a truck/trailer to haul it which is not covered. They think they'll need it for a few days (just in case they find something that needs parts) which means two trips, two rentals.
